Birth Support, Life Purpose and Mothering Community

On a lot of nearly an acre, our Main Center in Rochester Hills is tucked in a forested area near beautiful Bald Mountain Nature Preserve. We are open for many community gatherings in addition to our class offerings.

In the spring, expect to be greeted by our beautiful gardens in front.

The daffodils are usually the first flowers to appear, then snapdragons, and many, many types of roses pop up out of wheelbarrows.

In the back, we provide ample space for your children to play, the vegetable garden, many bird feeders, and a gorgeous flowering quince bush. There is privacy through mature trees and fencing.

Due to Pat's additional career as a kindergarten teacher for 39 years, we have amassed many stimulating outdoor toys for your children, such as water tables.

We can teach your little ones gardening skills, as we grow vegetables by seed before planting in back. Every year as a teacher, Pat taught her students how to grow and care for plants. This is a beautiful metaphor to use when you talk to your other child or children about your little growing bean inside!

Pat Pillars, our psychologist, is shown above, enjoying time with some kindergarten students at MacDowell Elementary School in Detroit.

Our Center is a comfortable and peaceful place to rest, and to soak in inspiration from nature and community.

Our Main Center is located at:

3440 Lake George Road

Oakland Township, MI 48363

Just outside the back door wall is a fire pit for separate meetings that we may hold to support a particular field of creativity, or for roasting marshmallows for older children during your class time, as the weather allows.

Tie-Dye Birthday Parties:

Little friends and adults alike, along with the guest of honor, will enjoy expression in using various tie-dye techniques. We are able to order many types and sizes of clothing for the workshops.

Some parents prefer to use our techniques on items other than t-shirts. We are able to pre-order specific and well-fitting items such as dresses, as well as household textiles (curtains and tablecloths), and accessories such as scarves.

Natural Beauty Workshop Experiences:

Nurture Mothers Co-Creator, Mandy, makes our Organic Postpartum Radiance Recovery beauty items, including homemade vegetable glycerin-based soaps, as well as the weekly gifts we provide especially for pregnant women enrolled in our courses. Mandy is an artist and illustrator who specializes in fairies.

Learn to make your own beauty products. Harvest mint from our gardens, learn specific benefits of some basic and common essential oils and herbs. Mandy's classes can support groups of children, during which light refreshments are served in kid-friendly presentations. For a Ladies' Night or Ladies' Brunch, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres are served. Perfect shower idea!

Inside Tour:

Entering the foyer, you will find yourself facing gorgeous French doors that lead into our Childbirth and Creativity Studio. We have hardwood floors, similar to a yoga studio, and provide cushions and mats for floor exercises.

Across the hall is our psychologist and hypnotherapist's office, which is private and contains two white noise machines for added discretion.

Work stations for online lessons in marketing your muse are set up along two walls, providing ample personal space along with our ergonomic chairs. Stations are still spaced close enough to ask a neighbor's opinion. On-call help during set up of technology-based marketing greatly reduces Luddite anxiety!

Walking straight ahead, you'll enter our Child Center. We offer free child care for any other children you might like to bring along, with all of the amenities that a day care center would offer, and a retired kindergarten teacher of 39 years at the helm. This also includes a kitchen area, and an enormous yard to play outside.

We are currently having the floors done, and as soon as they are finished we will be able to boast with images to support our description.
